Job Description The Position: As a Job Coach in Launceston and surrounding suburbs, you will guide clients towards job-readiness and employment opportunities. Your key responsibilities include:
Encouraging and motivating participants to find employment Building relationships with local employers to source job opportunities Reverse marketing clients to employers Placing participants into sustainable employment Ensuring all activities are properly documented and compliant with contractual requirements Providing exceptional service to clients, employers, and stakeholders You will work within a vibrant, collaborative team of employment services professionals, focusing on diversity and inclusion.
Qualifications Minimum of one year's experience in a customer service or client-facing role Demonstrated experience working with individuals overcoming challenges, preferably in a disability support context Knowledge of Disability Employment Services (DES) and related government programs Strong understanding of the local job market in Launceston, Australia Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders Proven ability to work towards KPIs and achieve placement outcomes Motivational and coaching skills to inspire and empower clients Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of clients and employers Detail-oriented approach to documentation and record-keeping Proficiency in using computer systems and databases for case management Current driver's license and willingness to travel locally as required Genuine passion for helping others and belief in the power of employment to transform lives Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, or a related field (preferred but not required) Additional Information What we will give you: On the job training as well as ongoing career development and national opportunities Access to MedHealth Academy including your own professional development plan, inclusive of individual training and mentoring Job stability and guaranteed full-time hours Achievable quarterly incentive scheme Access to a range of benefits including discounts for health insurance, access to psychology services, ability to purchase additional leave, roadside assistance and paid parental leave If this sounds like the role for you, please select the 'Apply for this job' button to upload your resume.
