What you'll be doing
The Project & Resource Coordinator will have a combination of standard daily/weekly tasks as well as the variety that working closely with clients can bring. You'll ensure the team has completed their timesheets, review project set-ups and approvals. You'll also connect with consultants to get their bookings and calendar sorted before jumping into a resourcing meeting to fill some gaps in the team's schedule.
You'll get involved responding to client requests, work closely with the finance team to assist with project invoicing or some credits. Lastly, work with some consultants on a confirmed engagement and liaising with our GM's or PM's. Applicants from Melbourne and Sydney are preferred but open to other locations within Australia too. Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage small engagements across various clients and regions Work closely with team members to ensure project milestones and utilisation targets are met Assist in resource allocation and management to optimise team performance Work with our Finance Business Partner to assist with invoicing, client queries and project budget tracking Assist with booking resources and plan project timelines to ensure efficient use of team members Coordinate with various departments to secure necessary resources for small and large engagements Maintain resource booking systems and tools What will make you successful in this role
• Experience in a consulting services company or similar environment.
• Experience in coordinating small engagements across multiple clients and regions.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate team members and work towards utilisation targets.
• Experience in booking resources and planning project timelines.
• An understanding of PMO practices and methodologies.
• Good finance base knowledge, including project budget tracking and reporting.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge or previous experience using NetSuite & OpenAir would be advantageous.
