What you'll be doing In this technical sales role, you will be working closely with the AMS sales team to design complex solutions for our customers in the Federal space. You'll be accountable for designs, bill of materials and professional services scoping for these solutions. You'll be working closely with our vendor partners, to stay current with the latest technologies. Providing ideas and feedback to enhance how AMS engages with our customers and for the continuous improvement of the collateral we produce. Act as a mentor and design authority to the delivery team to ensure the solutions you design are fit for purpose and commissioned appropriately. What will make you successful in this role? 5+ years in a similar role in a systems integrator Significant experience in designing enterprise solutions across some of our major vendor partners (Cisco, HPe/Aruba). With a particular focus on Cisco switching and data centre solutions. A strong overall knowledge of Cyber security and security platforms (inc SIG). Demonstrated experience of complex ICT projects in the Federal market and providing ICT solution design services that align with organisational objectives and business requirements. Demonstrated experience in identifying technical issues, thinking laterally and applying analytical skills to develop appropriate options for resolution. Demonstrated experience engaging with key customer and business stakeholders at all levels. Experience in the establishment, review and continuous improvement of ICT Architecture. Significant experience in the provision of specialist technical advice, support and assistance within an information technology environment covering many ICT technologies and environments. Significant knowledge of ICT-related government legislation, policies, procedures and systems. Proven high level communication skills, including the provision of expert advice on ICT issues of a critical and complex nature. Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads. Federal Security Clearance is highly desired but not mandatory.
