What you'll be doing: As a Project Manager, you will plan, coordinate, and oversee commercial fit-out projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role builds on your solid foundation as a Contracts Administrator and gives you the opportunity to lead your own projects while managing clients, teams, and financials.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Coordination Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders. Coordinate design reviews, approvals, and pre-construction activities. Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables based on client requirements. Project Delivery Oversee all phases of commercial fit-out projects, from demolition to completion. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines. Proactively identify and resolve project risks, issues, and delays. Prepare and track project budgets to ensure financial alignment. Process variations, progress claims, and invoices. Conduct financial reporting and forecasting for senior management. Stakeholder and Team Management Act as the primary client contact, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded. Lead project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring collaboration. Conduct regular site meetings and provide updates to stakeholders. Quality and Compliance Ensure projects meet quality standards, design specifications, and client expectations. Maintain compliance with WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) standards and local regulations. Manage project handovers, including defect rectification and post-completion documentation. About You: We are looking for someone who has:
Extensive experience as a Contracts Administrator , ideally on commercial fit-out projects. A strong understanding of project financials, including managing budgets, variations, and claims. Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills. The ability to lead and motivate teams, ensuring collaboration and high performance. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage risks and resolve issues efficiently. A strong focus on quality, compliance, and attention to detail. Familiarity with WHS standards and local building regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders Proficient in the use of project management software and tools Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive and collaborative approach Software Experience (preferable but not essential): Procore Project Management and Financial Management Tool Your application will include the following questions:
