About the role - Account Director
We're seeking a dynamic Account Director to drive strategic client relationships and lead digital initiatives across our portfolio. You'll be the bridge between our clients and internal teams, championing both customer experience, excellence, and business impact.
Responsibilities
Strategic leadership & client partnership
Act as a trusted advisor to key accounts, helping them navigate digital transformation and innovation.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships at all levels of key client organisations.
Participate in and/or lead discovery workshops alongside our Strategists, providing account and client guidance.
Shape digital roadmaps that align with client business objectives.
Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and innovation.
Digital experience management
Guide the end-to-end development of digital experiences that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Partner with our Research and Strategy team to identify when user research is needed and ensure insights inform solution design.
Gather complex business requirements and research insights and translate these into clear project objectives.
Present solution designs, together with key strategists, gaining stakeholder engagement, leading to business adoption and implementation.
Project & team leadership
Lead and inspire end-to-end, multi-disciplinary teams including designers, developers, and strategists, ensuring efficient delivery and clear communication.
Manage complex project portfolios and resource allocation, utilising a variety of project management methodologies.
Foster collaboration between internal teams and client stakeholders.
Drive project success through effective risk management, commitment to quality delivery, organisation skills, and financial acumen.
Required experience & skills
5+ years experience in digital strategy, 2 - 3 of which in a
similar senior position in a digital or creative agency
Strong understanding of agency operations and desire to embrace the opportunities and challenges of agency life.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong ability to guide discussions with senior stakeholders on business development, strategy, growth, and digital experience.
Confident multitasker and organiser.
Strong understanding of analytics and performance/growth principles.
Passion for a specialised area
CRM strategy, its strategic implementation and use in improving digital operations.
Brand, marketing, and business development.
Agency operations.
Project management, product ownership, or solutions architecture.
Personal attributes
Quiet confidence with excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.
Natural leader, who brings teams together effectively.
