Human Movement or Sports Science) Necessary experience working with youth athletes, or demonstrate competencies and understanding Working with children Check Role The Athlete Development Program (ADP) is a select entry, specialised sports development and education program aimed to assist students in pursuit of sporting excellence.
The program combines general physical preparation (strength & conditioning), technical squad training and athlete development curriculum.
Responsibilities The Athletic Development Coordinator will assist with the coaching of VCP programs as rostered and;
Run a High-Performance meeting monthly for ADP Athlete managers and support staff, incorporating individual athlete development and welfare.
Build, save and distribute all VCP programs and make all required and requested modifications.
Consult with ADP Squad coaches and ADP Athlete Managers on all programs.
Employ evidence-based practice and support in the incorporation of sports science and sports medicine services into programs.
Manage the delivery of required fitness testing and video analysis for ADP, Associate, Squads, Alumni, Selection Trials and manage the collection and reporting of all results.
