Company Secretary/Corporate Governance Advisor Company Secretarial position working for a professional services firm and market leader across the Asia Pacific region. This role will support the Queensland team and a portfolio of clients including both listed and unlisted companies, as well as not-for-profit entities. Excellent opportunity to join a large and experienced team with a wealth of corporate secretarial and governance knowledge.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, you will provide advice and assistance to clients on a range of matters including corporate governance, board practices, compliance with ASX listing rules, continuous disclosure, and financial reporting. You will coordinate, attend, and minute board meetings, managing shareholder meetings effectively.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of work experience and demonstrable knowledge of the Corporations Act, ASX listing rules, ASIC, and internal company requirements. You must possess proactive relationship management skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication abilities. It is essential to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholders and tasks, and to work autonomously with a high level of initiative. The team operates remotely and would consider candidates from interstate.
