Salary Range Band 6 $95,799 to $104,420 plus 11.5% Super Full time, Temporary 24 months (with possibility of extension) Located at St Kilda Town Hall with flexible working arrangements possible. About the Organisation The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. These range from childcare and immunisations, to libraries, management of parks and open space, rubbish collection, road maintenance and more. About the Role This position will play a critical role in project managing clever outcomes as part of the Clever Port Phillip action plan, enhancing process and systems improvements.
Duties: Partner with various business areas across the Council, including the People, Culture and Safety business area as well as other teams within the Digital Technology and Services business area to understand structure, policies, operations and collaboratively work to propose solutions that enable the Council to achieve their goals. Define and document requirements for improving processes and systems, reducing their costs, enhancing their sustainability, and quantify the potential business benefits. Work with internal and external stakeholder groups and facilitate workshops, focus groups and walk-throughs to drive outputs including business cases, use cases, business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, test cases, change management and business engagement documentation. Skills and Experience 3-5 years in a business analyst role, with experience in transforming HR systems highly advantageous. Business/system analysis, including requirements gathering, on large-scale systems development and delivery of IT solutions. Knowledge of HR systems like Aurion and ERP systems like Technology One's OneCouncil would be advantageous.
