We are now expanding and looking for our next Operations Manager who will be responsible for our Eastern states production.

WHO'S IN THE KITCHEN:
Reporting to the Head of Operations and Logistics, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager looking to make a difference.
You will have the ability to engage, lead and motivate a team.
WHAT'S ON THE MENU:
Effectively manage the Operations team (this includes but is not limited to shift scheduling, performance tracking, hiring and training) in a positive and safe environment.
Implement and manage the operations team and operational KPIs.
Provide feedback, coaching, guidance and recognition to enhance team's skill development.
Ensure compliance with WHS, OHS and HSE and resolve any incidents or hazards as reported.
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance of operations.
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
Seek and implement improvement initiatives for the warehouse (receiving of goods, QC checks, stocktake, space optimisation).
Actively seek and recommend policies, operational systems and training plans to improve operations flow.
Actively train and inspire team members about the quality of products.
NECESSARY INGREDIENTS:
Proven leadership and management experience.
Afternoon/Evening and Weekend Availability where shifts will be rostered.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with your team, collaborate and drive them to success.
Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, change and process improvement.
Previous experience in a FMCG production/manufacturing environment (desired but not essential).
Effective communication and influencing capability.
Strong safety mindset in all facets of work.
Proven experience managing, developing, and retaining individuals and teams.
Proven track record of delivering on business KPI's.
Must be physically fit and able to lift and move boxes of up to 15kg, and work within a temperature-controlled environment.
