About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Solutions Manager to join our growing commercial team! This is a fixed term maternity leave coverage until March 2026.
In this role, you will report into our Head of Easy Ordering Optimisation where you'll manage a team of System Optimisation Specialists. As a Business Solutions Manager, you are the business owner of the Fresh Produce replenishment system Relex, and you'll be at the forefront of translating business needs into actionable changes.
In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Business unit, digital and our vendors to deliver transformative business and operational outcomes, new improvements to systems and processes whilst maintaining business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
Your day to day will involve:
Drive the design, delivery, stability and business outcomes of the replenishment solution for Fresh Produce. Lead cross functional team of 4 to deliver benefit in line with business objectives. Deliver business success through sharing valuable SME knowledge and experience on retail and supply chain operations. Work with cross-functional teams to manage and deliver peak trade and ad-hoc events, as well as contingency and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) events. Identify and implement continuous improvement activities through root cause analysis and maximising use of system functionality and capability. Manage system deliverables in terms of schedules, quality, risks, continuous improvement and communication to enable successful delivery according to Business objectives. With developed leadership and stakeholder management skills, you will have the ability to have genuine impact and see projects through to tangible outcomes. Our ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, a can-do attitude, and a forward-thinking mind-set.
Your skills should include:
5+ years of supply chain experience in retail or FMCG with strong exposure to replenishment solutions. Keen and eager to learn, the ability to hit the ground running with exceptional communication and presentation skills. Project management skills, principles and methodologies preferred, including exceptional organisation and stakeholder management at all levels, to influence others and move toward a common goal. Demonstrated financial acumen and outcome delivery with strong analytical and numerical skills. Please note, applications will close on Saturday December 7th, 2024.
