About the Role The Sales Support will liaise directly with clients to manage orders and inquiries, providing amazing service and clear communication. Additionally, you will assist the sales team with invoicing, inventory, promotion information, and maintaining the SAP system.
Responsibilities Provide inventory / delivery / dispatch details within requested time. Ensure you are aware of all product features / benefits in order to properly assist customers in a professional and informed manner. Develop sales/promotional programs to achieve the company's sales and profit objective. Maintain contact with key customers and industry associations to achieve objectives. Liaise with logistics area to ensure that delivery schedules are met. Liaise with credit / finance department to ensure that all accounts are in order. Work closely with the in-field sales team to support them with stock and delivery queries. Be proactive with phone / virtual support to our clients in trying to obtain additional sales orders. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary Qualification in hospitality management, business administration, or a relevant business field. 2+ years of experience in similar roles. Customer service focused: Providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone, and face to face. Communication: The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending on the audience. Attention to detail: Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating both internally and externally. Commerciality: Ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner. Teamwork: Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members. Time management: Accomplish objectives effectively within the time frame given.
