About the Role:
Due to strong growth, we are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic sales star with a proven track record in sales, account management or business development, with a technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
Development of regional sales plans & strategies that align with the business plan and marketing strategy to ensure achievement of budgeted sales objectives.
Develop & implement the regional sales plans and strategies that will ensure that AAH becomes the company of choice for customers.
Monitor and analyse regional business sales performance and the effectiveness of plans and strategies and initiate corrective action where necessary.
Be a key player in the development, implementation and maintenance of the customer sales & service strategy for the business, which includes the establishment of service standards, recognition of separate markets & competitor information.
Build and maintain relationships with large key customers so as to ensure that AAH becomes their company of choice.
Manage the negotiation of profitable agreements with customers and in doing so ensure a positive outcome for both AAH and the customer.
Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of customer relationship management technology and the development and implementation of profitable services and solutions and/or alternative profitable services or solutions if needed.
Review and provide local market intelligence for strategic planning purposes, defining business trends, market requirements, competitor activities & business development opportunities that can be used to underpin profitable sales plans & strategies and provide AAH with growth opportunities.
Work together with the broader business and other functional teams to capitalise on opportunities to grow the business.
Skills & Requirements
Experience in prospecting, client meetings, building rapport, creating winning proposals & quotes and closing deals.
Mechanical or trade background would be favourable.
Demonstrable success in sales and in managing B2B & B2C relationships.
Innate problem-solving ability and a strong willingness to learn.
Highly motivated and self-driven with a passion for sales and a 'can-do' attitude.
Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
Ability to think on your feet and converse with a wide range of people.
Professional and approachable with high-level communication skills.
Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Full Drivers Licence.
