SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Our Accounting firm is busy! We need a new Accountant who can slot into the team quickly and start helping our clients. With plenty of variety on offer – and a very supportive team - this role will suit a professional with experience who is efficient and takes pride in their work but is also eager to keep learning and improving. We are ideally looking for Accountants that are not simply number crunchers – they are well-rounded, trusted business advisors.
Duties & Responsibilities: Tax planning and general advice Financial modelling Business improvement advisory through innovation and automation efficiencies Financial statement preparation and income tax returns including SMSF BAS, IAS, FBT Returns preparation and lodgement Assistance with other statutory obligations such as payroll tax and Workcover Required Skills & Experience: A degree qualification and CPA or CA completion (or near completion) 3 years' industry experience working with SMEs in a public practice accounting firm Interested in learning Business Advisory High attention to detail Exceptional communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills and exposure to financial modelling engagements including budgeting, cashflow forecasting and valuations Ability to work to deadlines Excellent Microsoft Excel and Xero skills Ability to work in a friendly team environment Willingness to learn / adapt to firm procedures About ASV Wadeson:
