Role: Assurance Partner Location: Murarrie, QLD (Turrbal & Yuggera Country)
Employment Type: Part Time (0.8 FTE)

As an Assurance Partner, you'll work with the Risk and Assurance Lead to coordinate and conduct Goodstart's internal Assurance Program, working closely with stakeholders to ensure key controls are designed and operating effectively.

Your Impact: You'll play a vital role in enhancing Goodstart's internal control framework by operationalising our Assurance Program. You'll assess the effectiveness of key controls aligned with enterprise risks and business objectives. Collaborating with expert services, state leadership teams, and centres, you'll identify, document, and test controls to ensure compliance and manage risks effectively. Through desktop reviews and stakeholder enquiries, you'll provide evidence-based recommendations to optimise our controls and frameworks. You'll also maintain governance processes and deliver valuable insights through reporting. Your expertise will help elevate our risk and compliance maturity across the organisation, ensuring performance is enabled and risks are managed.

Confidence and credibility to build stakeholder relationships to affect change. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to think and act strategically, tactically, and operationally – skilled problem solver. Big picture thinker who is influential in driving change, with close attention to detail. Ability to join the dots and write insightful reports for a variety of stakeholders. Ability to travel within the state and interstate if required.
