Our Cyber Security Group is a key pillar upholding Kmart's reputation and standing as one of Australia's most beloved brands. They are charged with ensuring that our customers, suppliers, staff and partners data is collected, managed and maintained with the utmost security.
As the GRC & Assurance Manager, you will lead a team of Cyber Security specialists, responsible for managing Kmart Australia's IT governance, risk management and compliance activities - driving awareness and mitigation of technology vulnerabilities that affect our systems.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading, mentoring, and developing a small team of GRC professionals. Developing and managing the organization's GRC programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Conducting regular audits and assessments, as well leading the external audit processes and vetting Vendors. Identifying, mitigating, and reporting on organisational risks through effective risk management strategies. Creating and maintaining policies and procedures, supporting governance and compliance efforts. Collaborating with departments to align and integrate GRC activities across the business. Providing training and guidance on GRC topics to promote compliance awareness. Remaining up to date with regulatory changes and best practices, recommending improvements as needed.
To be successful in this role you'll have:
Demonstrated experience in GRC management, preferably within a retail or ecommerce environment. Proven track record in managing GRC programs, policy development, and risk assessment frameworks. Leadership experience in managing and developing a risk and compliance team. A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards. Effective risk management and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
