The Role / Responsibilities: The role will be responsible for generating new Master Data Management, Sales & Marketing, Data Enrichment and Third Party Risk Management related deals and supporting the sales cycle process through to the successful closure of deals.
The successful candidate will work within the framework of growing the client base, assisting the sales team in new business generation for Master Data Management, Sales & Marketing, Data Enrichment, Third Party Risk Management domain-related business, and providing expert knowledge on Moody's solutions.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate proven capability:
Build and execute on sales strategies to meet or exceed annual sales goals and targets that align with the company's vision and objectives.Work with sales colleagues and other internal stakeholders to drive the sales process from beginning to end by identifying and qualifying prospects, initiating new sales activity and managing sales cycles to closure.Lead the development of business within assigned territories. Partner with Relationship Managers to develop clear, concise proposals and deliver targeted client demos that address client needs.Collaborate with Product Management and Product Strategy to promote improvement in product quality and the development of new sources of revenue.Manage full lifecycle sales process which includes identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging off existing client relationships, sales presentations and contract negotiations.Generate new revenue from research, product and service solutions and defend & grow existing revenue streams.Represent the company at industry and company-sponsored events, as required.Respond to RFIs and RFPs.Work with the Partnership & Alliance team to expand Moody's footprint in the market through partner ecosystem.Help define the strategy, map business processes related to Master Data Management and the associated impact on the data landscape of the organisation for clients and prospects.Coordinate and guide cross-functional designs to define the data integration requirements for clients and prospects.Enterprise level data analysis and integration work and/or providing data-focused systems integration solutions that demonstrate business acumen and the ability to apply technology solutions to solve business problems.Be able to confidently talk about MDM principles such as master record onboarding, enrichment sources, bulk upload, data quality validations and golden records publication.Participate and contribute to data source identification, data mapping and functional design for MDM related deals.Assist senior sales management with sales strategy development and implementation.This role will report to the Head of Compliance, Third Party Risk & Data (Oceania & ASEAN), based in Sydney.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business administration, Finance, Economics, Banking, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field.Minimum of 5 years experience working within corporates, consulting, advisory connected to MDM.Experience with complex sales cycles and relationship management in a sales capacity.Solid understanding of master data management principles.Demonstrated ability to lead complex sales cycles to successful conclusion through use of consultative selling techniques.Strong prospecting and new business development experience.Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.Ability to interact with senior executives both internally and externally.Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail.Ability to travel (up to 20%).Industry affiliation and leadership roles is a plus.Ability to present high-level information as well as detailed demonstrations of products & services.Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to listen to requirements and business problems in order to respond with the appropriate business answer.Ability to work productively and cooperatively in a structured and rigorous team environment.Moody's is an equal opportunity employer.
