Job Description The Opportunity
Urban Designers are an integral part of our delivery team and come from a diverse background of experience.

This role will see you:
Manage projects or parts of projects from tenders and fee proposals through to design delivery, taking responsibility for quality of work.
Facilitate multi-disciplinary workshops with engineers, surveyors, town planners, landscape architects, traffic engineers, marketing teams and the client.
Deliver packages of work for large scale greenfield masterplanned communities around Australia.
Preparing Urban Design Frameworks for town centres.
Providing advocacy and strategic land use advice.
Due Diligence for site acquisition purposes.
Providing mentoring and support to junior team members.
About You
First and foremost, you share our passion for good urban design outcomes.
You seek to extend your design skills and love sharing knowledge with others.
You have experience managing medium to large scale projects and love working within a multidisciplinary consultancy where your work is integrated with others.
You will come to us with:
A keen interest in working in a multidisciplinary consultancy where you work with engineers, landscape architects and surveyors to see projects come to life.
Demonstrated ability to lead, with good influencing, motivating and delegation skills.
Competent workshop facilitation skills and the confidence to lead and manage meetings to ensure effective outcomes.
Previous experience in urban design within a greenfield environment will be highly regarded.
A tertiary qualification in urban design, planning, architecture or other relevant study.
