With a comprehensive understanding of all Australian traffic engineering codes, guidelines, and local government development and planning standards, we are able to provide our clients with practical, scientifically sound, and technically robust outcomes.Thanks to continued success and a steady pipeline of work, we are seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to join the team.We offer flexibility that works for you and hybrid working options that mean this role could be based at any of the following locations: Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, or Melbourne.Here's what you can expect in your new role with EMM:You'll join a leading team with a focus on traffic impact assessment work, identifying and pursuing new projects and technical leadership.You'll be a key contributor to the strategic direction and growth of the team.You'll work on National projects, both big and small, across renewable energy, mining and infrastructure.With a strong pipeline of projects, you'll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact, whilst also leveraging internal and external networks to continue to grow the team.Your big picture thinking will allow you to effectively identify and plan for future needs, whilst also bringing solutions to clients before problems arise.You can count on having the support you need to deliver exceptional quality with specialist teams across EMM and leaders who are truly present and excited to help you deliver.You'll gain satisfaction from inspiring and supporting other EMMers on their development journey.You'll have the autonomy, flexibility and support you need to balance all aspects of your life.With offices across Australia; you'll be able to flex and enjoy hybrid working at its best.Here's what you'll bring to have impact:A minimum of 10-15 years' experience in Traffic engineering, including time spent within the consulting industry in Australia.High level of project management skills, including management of project budgets, tracking and schedules, outcome evaluation and client liaison, to help achieve high quality delivery outcomes.In-depth knowledge in relevant Australian Standards, Austroads guide and other relevant guides and standards.Knowledge and experience of car park design and swept path assessments.Knowledge and experience of SIDRA modelling software and AutoCAD.Certified CPEng, with RPEQ certification desirable.Ability and desire to contribute and support the continued growth of the transport team.Respect – you listen and understand other's views and work together to create opportunities for all.Integrity - you do what is right for your stakeholders to deliver what is true as opposed to popular.Humility - you understand the strength of humility and that no one is bigger than the team.We look forward to hearing from you!
