Associate to the Honourable Justice Moore Supreme Court of Victoria
The Honourable Justice Moore is seeking a legally qualified individual to be his Associate commencing on 28 October 2024.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working in the Common Law Division of the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, the capacity to confidently and effectively liaise with the profession and members of the public, as well as a strong academic record, are essential.

The Supreme Court of Victoria is the highest court in Victoria and comprises the Court of Appeal and the Trial Division.
The Court deals with major criminal and civil matters, plus appeals against decisions of lower courts.

About the Role
Duties include: Assisting with the production of judgments, including proofreading and editingClerking in courtReviewing files and ordersPerforming administrative tasks, including maintaining court records and preparing material for use by the judge in courtPreparing research memoranda.Assisting the judge with his duties in managing the Trusts, Equity and Probate ListLiaising with court staff, the public, the media and the profession.Applications will be considered as they are received and you may be contacted prior to the application close date.

About You
Qualifications: Qualified in Law.Two years of post-qualification experience is desirable.How to apply
