Do work that matters You will be working in the Market Risk reporting team of Global Markets technology, building software solutions that will help our business manage traded market risk effectively.

Technical deliveries in the various teams include working with popular technology tools for both on-prem as well as Cloud based software.
The technology group is made up of small vertical teams that delivers product-based software solutions and horizontal teams that work across the numerous teams to ensure that we uplift the learnings, use best practices, and enrich our overall knowledge base.
Core Responsibilities: Apply software engineering principles and practices in programming technologies and platforms to achieve business outcomes, while building out core technology and domain knowledge required to be effective.
Collaborate within the team to apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.
Develop high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
Participate as member of software development team with minimal supervision and occasional guidance.
Provide technical support and assistance to other non-technical members of the team.
Contribute to support and technical troubleshooting activity.

Tech skills We use a broad range of tools, languages and technologies.
We do not expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team; Background in building and deploying Java (API) or Python (data science) based apps.
Experience in front end technologies like React.js, Node.js etc.
Knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc Knowledge of automated unit testing frameworks such pytest, junit, cucumber etc Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies, including building infrastructure using CloudFormation, CDK, etc.
Knowledge of Dev-Sec-Ops principles and tools such as GitHub, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, GitHub Actions, Synk, Checkmarx etc.
Understanding of RDBMS systems and cloud data warehouses like Redshift & snowflake Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration frameworks like Amazon ECS, EKS or similar Knowledge of Capital Markets and associated risks will be considered highly advantageous.
