Associate / Senior Associate | Insurance LitigationThe Opportunity
The team at LexVeritas are excited to be assisting our clients in the search for 3+ PQE insurance litigation lawyers who are looking for a new opportunity to move their career in the right direction. This role would be predominantly focusing on professional indemnity, public liability and general liability issues and has room for the right person to grow and develop into a senior role over time.
Our client is genuinely unique in that the law firm is closely associated with and works primarily with an insurance underwriting agency – offering their clients a great end-to-end experience. What this means for you is essentially acting like an in-house lawyer for one main client but with the security, quality and growth opportunities of a law firm.
In this role, you will be valued for your ability to provide well considered legal advice as well as your litigious skillset. If you are ready to find yourself in a new organisation, as part of a growing team where you can really get your teeth sunk into some technical and specialist work, this could be the role for you!
Values First
Our approach to talent acquisition is always values first. So, the values this organisation holds dear include:

You'll have the opportunity to really polish your technical skills in this role with top-tier training and experienced senior practitioners guiding you along the way.The Skills
If the values feel like a fit, skills-wise we are searching for an insurance lawyer with a minimum of 2-3 years post admission experience predominantly gained in the insurance litigation practice area.
Day to day, you'll be:
In collaboration with your team, managing a portfolio of clients and providing expert legal advice on a range of litigious and non-litigious matters including professional indemnity claims and general liability claims.Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, submissions, affidavits, and other various legal correspondence.Working with your clients and fellow team members to develop and implement effective strategies to resolve matters.Attending court hearings and representing clients in litigated proceedings and negotiations.Developing and maintaining strong client and broker relationships and providing an exceptional client service.About LexVeritas
