With its 50-year milestone approaching in 2025, MCW is looking to appoint an Associate or Senior Associate to our highly regarded Corporate and Commercial team.
The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of talented solicitors and support staff and further develop your skills and career within a fun and supportive work environment.
You will be part of a dynamic team with direct access to dedicated Principals and could develop your skills across all areas of commercial advisory, particularly in the areas of Intellectual Property (IP), Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Tax and business structuring advice.
Key Responsibilities Undertaking complex M&A transactions and cradle to grave structuring advice;Conducting legal research and drafting technical advice in the areas of corporate and commercial matters;Drafting and negotiating legal agreements and contracts including shareholder agreements, sale and purchase agreements and licensing agreements;Assisting with and attending marketing and business development activities;Managing client relationships and providing high-quality service to clients;Mentoring and supervising junior solicitors and support staff, as well as assisting with team management;Working collaboratively with other teams in the firm.Requirements 3-6 years' + post admission experience with experience across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering practical and commercially sound advice to clients.Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively with other solicitors and support staff.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Your new team Our team is made up of highly skilled and dedicated legal professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients.
