Your opportunity We are seeking commercially minded advisory professionals thatare ready to lead, adapt, and innovate in a dynamic andever-evolving business landscape to join our Perth restructuringteam.
You'll help us provide companies tailored solutions to complexfinancial challenges to restructure and stabilise the business orto recover value on behalf of stakeholders. You'll work across avariety of industries with a team that comprises unique backgroundsto bring diversity of thought.
You will be essential to the implementation of our moststrategic work and will be part of a range of engagements fromstrategic restructurings through to trade on insolvencies.Restructuring partners will rely on you to work proactively as partof a team to deliver projects and navigate a diverse range ofengagements.
In a role where no two days are never the same, your keyresponsibilities will include:
working closely with our clients to develop and deliverrestructuring and insolvency strategieswork as part of an engagement team, managing multipleworkstreamsinterrogating financial information, evaluate options andprepare recommendations for our clientshelping clients analyse and understand the performance andposition of their businesstaking a "hands on approach" to implement solutions thatare as varied as our clients' challenges. This may includeselling distressed assets, reorganising capital structures ortrading on businessesidentifying and undertaking research on target companiesand preparing pitch documentsparticipating in business development initiatives andmarketing activitieswork collaboratively with the team as they deliver creativeand innovative solutions for their clientscontributing to your learning and development, and that ofour team through coaching and mentoringstaying abreast of industry trends, regulations, andemerging practices, and adapt strategies accordingly.About you You are professionally qualified, or are studying, (CharteredAccountant or Certified Practicing Accountant) with a minimum oftwo years' experience in restructuring, audit, M&A ortransaction services.
This means you have:
excellent analytical skills supported by an advancedknowledge of Microsoft Excelexperience building and reviewing financial modelsstrong written and verbal communication skills that enableyou to interact at all levels of our client organisations andwithin our teamstructured problem-solving skills, including a logical,disciplined approach to deconstructing problems into their coreissuesorganisation and project management skills and an abilityto manage clients and project teams to positively influencechangehands-on experience working in a fast-paced, highlyadaptive environmentcommercial awareness with strong business acumen andnegotiation skillsa bias towards action and driving rapid outcomescuriosity, empathy, integrity, and strong interpersonalqualities.But it's not all about work.
