Your impact The purpose of this role is to support the management of complex, multi-disciplinary projects in the rail market sector and to manage smaller projects.
Key functions include: Support the management complex projects through the full spectrum of the project life cycle, delivering within time, cost and scope expectations Support the establishment processes for identifying, managing, and monitoring complex risks in project outcomes, safety, management and design Maintain compliance with the requirements of the Jacobs standards procedures and policies so that our Quality Certification is maintained; and to adhere to clients Quality Assurance requirements.
Build, maintain and enhance strong relationships with clients (public and private sector) so that the client continues to choose Jacobs as its preferred project delivery partner Monitor client feedback and engage relevant teams to address feedback and change to ensure consistent excellent feedback Create a project culture aligned to our values Interface with clients, subconsultants, Global Delivery Centres (GDCs) and other remote resources, contractors, and other stakeholders.
To promote the integration of Global Integrated Delivery (GID) for the effective delivery of Jacobs' projects Support the production process of engineering design deliverables & report preparation and monitoring the quality of these deliverables to meet functional and statutory requirements as satisfy client briefs and expectations.
Establish systems for multidisciplinary project files/records, documents, data control, legal and driving compliance to business systems Support resourcing and managing a wide range of professional disciplines and subcontractors including GID resources to deliver projects Manage package or project budgets with work breakdown structures, interpret financial statements and work closely with commercial team to evaluate drivers to ensure project profitability.
Support proposals & tenders, including preparation of scope and pricing, and coordination of subcontractor scope On small projects lead people by building effective project teams as well as coaching and developing talent within those teams and support this activity on large projects Contribute to building the capability of others by training and mentoring others where possible Support the application of safety in design practices and processes on projects Articulate client Digital Engineering/BIM requirements and engage people and resources to deliver using experience in delivering Digital Engineering/BIM multi- disciplinary, multi organisation projects.
