Founded in 1930, the Sydney School of Public Health is Australia's first and leading school in public health, dedicated to addressing the world's most pressing health challenges. At the forefront of cancer control, Professor Karen Canfell and her team support policy, practice, and decision-making for innovative cancer solutions. A key partner in the WHO Cervical Cancer Elimination Modelling Consortium (CCEMC), the team's work on the economic benefits and impact of cervical cancer elimination is cited in the World Health Organization's strategic plan.
