What you'll do
As the Associate Professor or Senior Lecturer (Physiotherapy), you will be instrumental in the ongoing development of the University's offerings in Physiotherapy, including our new Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), our Associate Degree in Allied Health and related health programs, including internal and external accreditation.
Bringing your academic experience, combined with your extensive clinical experience in hospital, industry, or private practice, you will:
contribute significantly to the leadership and delivery of courses and the ongoing development of programs.work with a growing and diverse team while building strong industry linkages to develop and deliver a modern and relevant teaching program with positive student outcomes.lead and facilitate research for the discipline.In addition to your relevant formal qualifications in Physiotherapy and current registration (or eligibility to gain registration) as a Physiotherapist by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia, you will have full registration in good standing as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Professions Regulation Agency (or international equivalent), and additional certification required for ongoing clinical practice or clinical supervision.
Expertise in cardiorespiratory and/or neurological physiotherapy is desirable.
You also will have:
comprehensive knowledge of the accreditation standards for the development of physiotherapy programs, and extensive experience in tertiary level program design and curriculum development.extensive clinical experience in hospital, industry or private practice, sufficient to train novice clinicians and provide professional development for peers.extensive experience in clinician education, ideally within the university sector, including experience in the development and delivery of curriculum and assessments using multi-modal delivery approaches.excellent interprofessional relationships within allied health and a proven commitment to interprofessional education and collaboration.As an Associate Professor, you will have a PhD and an extensive research track record which demonstrates research leadership and a strong commitment to furthering knowledge in the discipline and engaging with industry.
As a Senior Lecturer, you will have a PhD and an established research track record and experience leading research projects.

Term: Full-time continuing appointment (37.5 hrs/week)
Salary: Senior Lecturer - Total remuneration range for full-time appointment $156,562 to $179,946 pa (includes salary range of $132,287 to $152,045 pa, employer superannuation contributions up to 17% of salary and annual leave loading)
Associate Professor - Total remuneration range for full-time appointment $187,737 to $206,439 pa (includes salary range of $158,628 to $174,431 pa, employer superannuation contributions up to 17% of salary and annual leave loading)
