A magnificent power station from the 1920s reborn as an arts centre on the Brisbane River (Maiwar), Brisbane Powerhouse is a premier destination for contemporary culture and art. With over 1,750 performances and events each year, we offer a diverse program of music, theatre, comedy, dance, film, visual arts, in-conversation, and digital arts.
As our program grows, we are looking for an experienced Associate Producer to join our Programming Team. This six-month, fixed-term role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects like Night Feast and Melt Open, contributing to the vibrant arts scene in Brisbane. You will report to and work closely with the Program Manager to plan, execute, and deliver major projects, ensuring efficient administration, budgeting, and resource management. This position involves close collaboration with artists, organisations, and internal teams to uphold high standards in event production and client satisfaction.
To be successful in this position, you will have proven project management experience in the arts and entertainment sector. You will be a strong administrator with exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
