We are keen on speaking to Ecologists from a range of experience with the confidence and ability to hit the ground running in a busy environment. You will be open to turning your hand at a few different things (we are a multi-skilled bunch) and enjoy a great social team environment in which we share success of working on great projects.Key ResponsibilitiesSkills and experienceThe successful candidate must have:An appropriate tertiary qualification in Science, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Natural Resources or in another related field9+ years' experience in an ecological role in the environmental consulting sector or an equivalent role in Government, including undertaking ecological surveys and report productionExperience in the design and implementation of flora and fauna field surveys and monitoring programsExcellent flora and fauna identification skillsMature report writing and computer skills, with demonstrated ability to prepare high quality written material for publicationProven ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasksProven project management experience in relation to client management and budget controlOur benefits at SLR include:Our culture is unique where we work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
