Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Scrub/Scout Urology (Fixed Term)

We are seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager for our Urology Scrub/Scout Team based at Epworth Geelong, Waurn Ponds for a temporary part-time position from December 2024 until July 2025.
As an ANUM, you will be responsible for providing team leadership, guidance, and support to ensure effective management and ongoing development of our peri-operative team. You will report to the Nurse Unit Manager and be part of our theatre leadership team. You will join a highly skilled multidisciplinary team that strives to achieve outstanding outcomes every day. Our peri-operative environment consists of 9 Operating Theatres and prides itself on providing excellent service and care for our patients and doctors.
You will make an impact by:

Delivering exceptional patient experience and excellence in customer service.
Role-modelling culture of safety & quality improvement.
Developing others to reach their full potential.
Assisting in day-to-day management of the Urology Scrub Scout team.

To be successful in the role you will have:

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
Passion for leading, developing, and guiding others.
Extensive scrub/scout experience.
Flexibility and excellent organization and communication skills.
Commitment to learning and developing current clinical practice.
Well-developed understanding of relevant professional standards.
Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative nursing or working towards.
Current nursing registration with AHPRA.

The annual salary range for full-time ANUM – AUD $107,462 - $110,966 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level, and position (prorated for part-time).
