Job Description:Rehabilitation Unit Kew is a 20 bed unit
1 x Full Time, Permanent and 1x 0.8EFT Fixed Term position available
Mentor or preceptor nursing staff experience
About Rehabilitation Kew: The Rehabilitation Unit Kew is a 20 bed unit specializing in the care of patients who are recovering from orthopedic and neurological conditions/injuries.
Care and discharge planning is provided by an inter-disciplinary team which includes the nursing team.
The Associate Nurse Unit Manager, under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager, will be responsible for providing mentoring and leadership to the Nursing Team and will support and assist the Nurse Unit Manager in achieving specific Key Performance Indicators.
In the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager, you will administer and manage the professional and operational resources of the unit.
Classifications for this position will range between YW11 - YW12 ($106,834.00- $110,432.10 per annum pro rata).
Your Contribution:Ensures delivery of high quality care incorporating the Values and Health Care Philosophy of the Sisters of Charity.
Demonstrate commitment to organizational change.
Mentor or preceptor nursing staff.
Manage portfolios as delegated by Nurse Unit Manager.
Consider the cost and budget implications when using or obtaining consumables in relation to the delivery of patient care.
