Our expert care team of surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses and other professionals will ensure that your experience is the best it can be.As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (Orthopaedic/Neurosurgery) your responsibilities will include:Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvementMaintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resourcesCoordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiativesUndertaking direct patient care, as requiredSelection Criteria:Current Registration with AHPRAWorking with Children check3+ years orthopaedic, neurology or surgical experienceMust be able to work rotational night shiftsCurrent or previous ANUM, shift manager or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable)Sound clinical knowledgeCompliance with ACQSHC National standardsExemplary interpersonal and communication skillsPositive role modelling behavioursExcellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisationAbility to manage a dynamic and changing environmentHigh degree of computer literacy including MS office and various databasesWhy Healthscope?We care about your career at Healthscope.
