Service: Allied and Community Health Service Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes for our community members.
Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree, and Leigh Creek.
We offer a wide range of centre-based, in-home, and community-based services to people of all ages and tailor our services to best meet our client needs.

As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you'll provide expert nursing and/or midwifery care in a variety of dynamic health service settings, with the opportunity to further develop your skills and experience.
You will be a key player in shaping patient care delivery and staff development, supporting the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager (NMUM) in leading a dedicated team.
Your role will encompass both in-home and hospital-based coordination of regional Nursing Community Care services within FUNLHN.
In this rewarding position, you will:
Collaborate with other Associate Nurse/Midwife Unit Managers and the NMUM to ensure continuity and consistency of care across multiple sites.Assist with the implementation of innovative practice changes that elevate the standard of care.Support the NMUM in a range of management responsibilities, from performance and recruitment to staffing, rostering, financial planning, and supplies management.Take an active role in mentoring and guiding less experienced staff, helping them grow into proficient practitioners.About You: Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post-registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.Experience in the supervision of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.Certificate in training and assessing.Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances) Applicant Information: Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and Immunisation compliance as indicated on the Role description.SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening, and vaccination policy in the workplace.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply.Want To Know More?Contact: Melissa Reed - Acting Regional Team leader, ,
