Provide senior leadership along with the Nurse Unit Manager of Sterilisation Services and be responsible for the operational management of the Gold Coast Unit Hospital and Robina units.
An opportunity has become available for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (Central Sterilising Department) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Manage rosters and staff leave for GCUH and Robina Sterilisation Services Assist with recruitment management of Sterilisation Services staff Backfill the Nurse Unit Manager role when required for operational support Supervise the Central Sterilising Departments floor and work clinically in the unit as needed About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Base salary $121,352 per annum or $4,651.40 per fortnight.

The Central Sterilisation Services within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service is provided by three main facilities at Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina, and Varsity Lakes.
These three state of the art Central Sterilising Departments service 29 operating theatres as well as two Endoscopy Suites, wards and Oral Health.
