Department of Health Hospitals & Primary Care - Hospitals Nth Launceston General Hospital Applications must be submitted by Sunday 26 May, 2024 11:55 PM Sunday 26 May, 2024 11:55 PM AEST Award/Classification: Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award, Registered Nurse, Grade 5 $103,466 to $109,165 pro rata, per annum Employment type: Part Time Region: North Location: LGH Charles Street, Launceston The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is an experienced nurse who, within the defined area of practice:• Works in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and other senior staff, to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.• Assists the NUM with the planning and management of staff and resources and provides operational leadership through the coordination of the day to day patient care activities, including patient flow. The position: The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is an experienced nurse who, within the defined area of practice: Works in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and other senior staff, to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework. The role: This role would suit applicants who are passionate about supporting members of the nursing/midwifery, hospital aide, ward clerk and care assistant team to ensure that patients and their significant others receive care that aligns with the values of the Tasmanian Health Service The successful applicant will be someone who is creative, innovative and organised with well developed clinical and nursing leadership skills who are able to assist the organisation to respond to changing priorities within the health workforce in both the immediate and long term. The successful applicant would work within the Pool Office to recruit, onboard and support our team to respond to nurse and support staffing requirements of THS North. Details of Appointment Fixed term, part time, day worker position working 32hours per fortnight commencing via mutual agreement for a fixed period ending 24 March 2025 *notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Salary: $103,446 - $109,165 paper annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013 Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria: Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse *Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee's responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
