The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is an experienced nurse who, within the defined area of practice:• Works in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and other senior staff, to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.• Assists the NUM with the planning and management of staff and resources and provides operational leadership through the coordination of the day to day patient care activities, including patient flow
The CCU at LGH supports a team of approximately 50 staff: Is a small 8-bedded dynamic coronary care unit (CCU) with a mixture of ANUM/G4/G3 and G2's to support this sick cohort of patientsSupportive work environment with 2 CNE's, and highly qualified senior staff who can manage NIV, inotropes temporary pacing and arterial linesANUM's have high level of responsibility to support the NUM who is located separately from the CCUThe role: The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is an experienced nurse who, within the defined area of practice:

Details of Appointment Fixed term part time, shift-worker position working 36hours per fortnight, commencing from 1 May 2024 until 1 May 2025
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Salary range is in accordance withNurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
