About the facility Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region.
Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
Barwon Health's McKellar Centre offers a range of rehabilitation services that enable people to make a dynamic recovery.
It is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state-of-the-art equipment.
Adzen is a high-level secure unit at McKellar Centre that provides residential care for older people suffering from Dementia and is conveniently located in North Geelong.
As well as anaesthesia services, the department also manages the acute and chronic pain services, and the peri-operative unit, including cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPX) for pre-operative assessment of patients.
About the role To provide leadership in the planning and delivery of the Memory support unit within Barwon Health's Residential Aged Care Service.
The Adzen provides support and care for people living with Dementia and severe behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia.
