Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) manages the financial needs of corporate, institutional and government clients that are based, or have interests in, Australia and New Zealand. 
The Financial Institutions, Public Sector, and Health sector (FIPSH) also includes the Non-Bank Financial Institutions portfolio which is a recently established coverage team that aspires to deliver strategic and relevant engagement to a diverse group of alternative financiers.
The role is based in Sydney and will report to the Head of Non-Bank Financial Institutions. 
As an Associate within Non-Bank Financial Institutions you will be responsible for supporting the coverage bankers drive strategic engagement and pro-active, advice-led business origination with Westpac's key institutional clients. Non-Bank Financial Institutions' objective is to achieve high levels of year-on-year growth and optimal return on equity, by developing, managing and deepening the relationship with a portfolio of private and publicly listed clients. 
To be successful in the role, you will need to work well in a team environment, coordinating Analysts, Credit, Legal, Transactional Services, Debt Markets, Financial Markets and Compliance. 
Core responsibilities include:
Industry strategy to include key involvement in, coordination and delivery of: Written industry strategies including related research and analysis; and Industry deep dive analysis Financial analysis Customer centric activities to include: Coordinating the professional delivery of tailored financial and transactional solutions for customers including by developing customer presentation material. Coordinating communication to customers such as responses to Requests for Proposals ('RFP'), delivery of Expressions of Interest.Operating the internal CRM system; andSupporting the development of customer relationships and attendance of customer meetings where appropriate. Origination support: Preparing and coordinating refinance/new product pricing approvals using DPX, MyClient, Credit Connect and Qlikview systems. Preparing and coordinating internal and external account planning.Preparing revenue reporting, forecasts as well as following up on revenue anomalies within reports with Finance and respective industry or product colleagues; Acting as interface with the customer for client service matters. Ad hoc tasks to support customer needs and deliverables.Overseeing internal and external hygiene matters necessary for the smooth running of the NBFI customer portfolio.What's in it for me?
