Mastercard Services, the professional services arm of Mastercard, provides payments-focused consulting, marketing, platforms, information, loyalty and risk management services, Open Banking and security solutions to financial institutions, merchants and other partners worldwide.
The Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow.
Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base.
Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services as well as Open Banking and security solutions.
Role
The Business Development Role for Mastercard Services is focused on building industry network to drive the sales processPerform comprehensive analysis to establish deep understanding of Client needs and potential solutions to identify the most critical aspects of a problemBuild relationships and network with internal and external stakeholders, influencers, sponsors and decision-makers to ensure relevant support is aligned with core business objectivesManage the sales cycle and related processes from client needs identification through contractual development and execution incl.
writing well-structured and persuasive proposalsDevelop sales-support materials (i.e.
presentations, business cases etc) that articulate the compelling nature of Mastercard Services qualitatively and quantitatively to address client challengesEnsure engagement quality, leading post-implementation review activities and follow-on opportunity identificationContribute to project delivery efforts utilising core consultancy skills and industry knowledge (e.g.
perform Project Management or subject matter expertise input responsibilities as appropriate)Create intellectual capital (e.g.
white papers on specialist industry topics) to increase the value proposition of Mastercard Services.
All About YouYou should be a highly motivated individual, who is experienced in services / consulting roles, with some knowledge of the payments industries in AustraliaYou should have skills and experience to contribute towards the delivery and quality management of services engagementsUndergraduate degree requiredOther required personal attributes include:Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication/influencing skillsAdvanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
