Associate - M&A And Project Finance Advisory

Following ongoing growth we're partnering with an M&A and Project Finance Advisory firm specialising in renewable energy, infrastructure, and natural resources transactions to help hire for their team.
They're looking for an Associate with 2-4 years of experience in Banking or Financial Advisory, particularly in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Project Finance within the renewables, infrastructure, and/or natural resources sectors.
Your role: Manage and execute M&A transactions, from initial due diligence through to closing, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial analysis, valuation, and transaction documents.
Conduct financial modelling, including scenario analysis and sensitivity testing, to support decision-making and transaction structuring.
Prepare client presentations and investment memoranda that effectively communicate transaction opportunities, strategic rationale, and financial implications.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and market conditions affecting renewables, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors.
Your background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in M&A, Project Finance, or Investment Banking with exposure to renewables, infrastructure, and/or natural resources sectors. The candidate must have transaction experience they can talk to.
Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in financial analysis and valuation techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under tight deadlines.
The candidate will play a crucial role in executing transactions, conducting financial analysis, and supporting senior team members in delivering comprehensive advisory services to their clients.
This role would suit someone with intellectual curiosity, a good problem solver and a learning mindset to continually learn and grow.
