Multiple Continuing, part-time and full-time positions Level A: $93,065 - $109,033 (pro-rata) + 17% Superannuation About the PositionsThe Associate Lecturer positions within the School of Education are teaching intensive roles which involve the delivery and coordination of subject lectures, tutorials and/or other teaching activities, as well as assessment marking and student consultation.
Teaching is across various undergraduate and postgraduate education subjects, and/or postgraduate autism and neurodivergent studies subjects.
These positions will make a significant contribution to the teaching efforts within the School of Education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and will also include a component of governance and service activities.Successful applicants are likely to have relevant Australian early childhood or school teaching qualifications and experience (or expertise in an aligned area), as well as experience teaching into Education and/or Autism and Neurodivergent Studies subjects at the tertiary level.
They will demonstrate a capacity to contribute to the School of Education in multiple ways, including supervision of professional experience, supporting the development of strong school-university partnerships, contributing to marketing and engagement activities, and/or completing other governance activities relevant to the School and role.
We are seeking educators with expertise in one or more of the following streams: Aboriginal Education Creative Arts in Education Child Development Digital Technologies for Learning Early Childhood Education Educational Psychology Educational Sociology Literacy Education Numeracy Education Science Education Health and Physical Education including Movement Human Society and its Environment (HSIE) in Education Inclusive Education and Special Education Autism and Neurodivergent Studies Primary and Secondary Curriculum and Pedagogy Classroom Management and Relationships Leadership in Education Other (in Education) About You You will be an experienced educator with academic qualification/s in Education or an aligned field, with expertise in one or more educational topics, and with demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the discipline area (stream) listed above.
You will be required to demonstrate skills and experience relevant to subject teaching in Education and/or Autism and Neurodivergent Studies at university level.
For initial teacher education courses, it is desirable you have experience teaching in schools or early childhood services in Australia.
