About this Opportunity   We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Associate Lecturer to teach in the Bachelor of Allied Science program, focusing on Indigenous Community Management & Development units and Mental Health Principles and Practices.
This is a continuous full-time opportunity* for individuals who are dedicated to enhancing the educational experiences of Indigenous students and promoting cross-cultural understanding among all students.
*The successful application may choose full time or part time employment (minimum of 0.5 FTE).
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Deliver engaging and culturally relevant lectures in Indigenous Community Management & Development and Mental Health Principles and Practices.
Foster an inclusive learning environment that respects and integrates Indigenous cultural knowledge.
Facilitate discussions and activities that enhance student understanding of Indigenous perspectives.
Assess and evaluate student performance while providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop curriculum and resources that support Indigenous education.

Selection Criteria Bachelor's Degree (required), Master's Degree or equivalent experience (desirable) in either of the following disciplines: Science, Indigenous Health, Business Administration, Indigenous Australian Studies.
High-level communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with a commitment to the development of a collegial and supportive working environment and the ability to interact with students and staff with cross-cultural sensitivity.
Demonstrated ability to teach effectively as well as a commitment to reflective improvement in teaching delivery.
Unit coordination or Program coordination or development experience.
An understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice relevant to the discipline.
An ability to contribute to curriculum review and renewal.
Demonstrate experience working directly with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.
