Associate Lawyer | Projects & Infrastructure

Our client, a well-established leader in the Australian legal sector with a strong presence nationwide, is seeking a talented and experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join their Construction, Projects & Infrastructure team in Melbourne.

The Role: You will have the unique opportunity to work on both front-end and back-end construction matters, handling a diverse range of high-quality projects and disputes.
The firm's Construction Litigation team has extensive experience working with stakeholders at every level, including developers, head contractors, subcontractors, and consultants, providing legal advice and representing clients across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, and Victoria.
The work will span dispute resolution (including mediation, arbitration, and litigation), contract negotiation, project delivery, and more.

Key Responsibilities: Draft and negotiate commercial contracts and disputes documentation.Provide legal advice on construction, projects, and infrastructure matters.Support clients through all stages of project lifecycles, including tenders, contract negotiations, project delivery, and claims preparation.Represent clients in dispute resolution processes across courts and tribunals.About You: You have 3+ years PAE with exposure to projects, construction and/or infrastructure.Strong expertise in draftingCommercially astute, with a strategic and practical approach to legal challengesProven ability to manage complex negotiations and ensure the best outcomes for clientsThe Benefits: Work alongside industry experts on significant projects across various sectors, including renewable energy, civil infrastructure, and large-scale commercial and residential developments.Be part of a collaborative team that values mentorship and career development.Enjoy a competitive salary package and excellent benefits in a firm with a nation-wide presence and prestigious rankings in Australia's Best Law Firms, 2025.Sounds like you?
