CommBank's Institutional Banking Client Services (IBCS) is a multi-faceted operations team that partners with Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) to deliver Transaction Banking solutions to Institutional Banking and Corporate clients.
This is done by responding to queries, work items, emails and calls and helping find transaction banking solutions for our customers.
Alongside this vital service delivery operations role, IBCS provides critical risk management and controls, maintaining and enhancing clients and business partners assets and reputation.

Your Role.
As an Associate in IBCS, you will be a first point of contact for our clients to manage their Transaction Banking queries and needs.
Our team provides support to clients across a full suite of Transaction Banking products including; Corporate Cards, Corporate Accounts, Transactional Accounts, Payments, Merchant Services and CommBiz.
Our key focus is to serve our Institutional Banking (IB) Clients from the early implementation and on-boarding stage of their life cycle to the ongoing account maintenance and enhancement of their CBA experience.
Throughout this lifecycle the team builds strong and meaningful relationships by getting to know the clients, their needs, industry, and long-term strategies.
On Any given day you will: Form relationships with clients and relationship managers while helping our customers with account maintenance and transaction banking queries.Utilise high attention to detail skills to understand how to mitigate risk or control issues.Demonstrate judgment and problem-solving by thinking ahead, anticipating questions, finding alternative solutions and identifying clear objectives.Communicate what is relevant and important in a clear and concise manner and share information/new ideas with others.Successfully handle multiple tasks, take initiative to improve own performance, work intensely towards extremely challenging goals and persist in the face of obstacles or setbacks.Operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and prioritise one's own work to achieve them. You will have some experience processing Transactional Banking products or services or have transferable card, payment, merchant or transactional accounts skills from working in environments like; Branch, Everyday Banking, Business Banking Contact Services, Merchants or Direct Banking environment and are looking to expand your career into the Institutional Banking Services team.
Other skills we look for:Demonstrable experience working with Transactional Banking clients or products (such as cash management, corporate card services, merchant solutions, account maintenance).Relevant experience in Operations or processing roles or experience in Branch Banking.Business/Commerce or related degree is preferred.
