Kennedys is looking for an Associate with 2-4 PAE to join our dynamic, close-knit and team-orientated Healthcare practice in Melbourne. The focus will be assisting seniors with a mix of complex healthcare and medical malpractice files across a range of clients, including MDOs.

We are looking for a candidate who is a team player, who can develop and maintain excellent client relationships and who is keen to be involved in marketing/business development and client training activities.

Required Experience
Ideally 2+ years' of post-admission experience in defendant medical malpractice and healthcare work is preferred.
Alternatively, a defendant insurance background with a keen interest in developing a career in this specialist area would be considered highly.
Demonstrate first-rate legal/commercial knowledge with strong technical and research skills.
Ability to draft, advise and negotiate in relation to both straightforward and complex matters.
Running own caseload under supervision.
