Based in Brisbane, the successful candidate will enjoy working on high value matters for premium insurer clients in a team that is recognised within the industry for delivering high quality advice and outstanding service to clients across a diverse range of sectors including:Public liability - Personal Injury & PropertyProduct liabilityIndemnityCTPCatastrophic claims.The key purpose in this role will be to offer a broad range of personal injury and general insurance services to a wide network of clients. You will be required to have a demonstrated and sound knowledge of the industry, with the ability to run matters through to completion. As a senior member of the team, you will be experienced in, and comfortable leading and mentoring junior lawyers.Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role you will have:A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current Queensland practising certificateMinimum 2 years' post admission experience in general insurance matters, including liability claimsExperience in personal injury proceedings in QueenslandA passion for and experience in mentoring and supervising junior lawyersAbility to communicate effectively with experts in multiple fieldsHigh degree of initiative, dedication and organisation ability with a strong client and commercial focusA commercial approach and ability to articulate and negotiate effectively.What We OfferIn return, McCabes will provide you with the opportunity to work with a talented team in a flexible, inclusive, and innovative environment.
