Position DetailsThe Associate Head of Campus position exists to provide leadership support across the Edmund Rice Flexible Learning School at Geraldton Flexible School site with a focus on Learning, Pedagogy, and Curriculum. The role works in close cooperation with the Principal and the Regional Support Team. The person has delegated responsibility to enhance, develop, and maintain an innovative and inclusive education, wellbeing, and social inclusion responses for Young People enrolled at Geraldton Flexible School.Selection Criteria A minimum of three years in a leadership position in Flexi or Special Assistance schools with proven senior leadership experience, both strategic and operational, characterised by strong organisational, administrative, communication, and leadership skills, particularly in relation to areas outlined in this position.Able to demonstrate the high-level communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills necessary to be successful in a complex and layered organisational structure.Tertiary qualifications in Teaching with eligibility for teacher registration with WA Teacher Registration Board, hold a current open driver's license, and willingness to drive school buses.Five or more years' experience in working within an educational context supporting vulnerable young people to re-engage with learning and wellbeing pathways.Demonstrated commitment to the values of Edmund Rice Education Australia. The person needs to be able to demonstrate a commitment to building just communities based on the Touchstones of; Inclusive community, Gospel Spirituality, Justice and Solidarity, and Liberating Education, which enhance learning and wellbeing for young people.Demonstrated leadership of the development and maintenance of programs for young people at risk. Substantial knowledge of and experience in one or more of the aspects of leadership (as identified in the Key Accountabilities).
