ABOUT THE COMPANY. This consultancy is led by an industry leader with over 30 years of experience working across multiple tier 1 clients and projects. Presently, this consultancy is growing with a vision to expand nationwide and is currently primed for growth with new projects confirmed for 2025. Since their inception, they have successfully delivered hundreds of projects across Sydney, building their reputation by establishing relationships with local councils and managing geotechnical challenges.
ABOUT THE POSITION. This position entails an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with a strong background working with transport and local councils, with expertise in design and ground investigation. You will be involved in operational matters and assist with growing the geotechnical team in the long term. In addition, you will be in charge of the development of the broader team of Junior Geotechnical Engineers.
DUTIES. Interpret ground investigation data and prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports.Conduct numerical modelling and analysis of complex geotechnical problems.Coordinate ground investigations, including drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing.Perform and review complex geotechnical engineering analyses, including slope stability and foundation design.Oversee the training and development of Junior Geotechnical Engineers.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. Proven local experience working on transport and infrastructure projects.Have attained or are working towards Professional Chartership with Engineers Australia.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Hold a Class C Australian driver's licence.Relevant Degree in Engineering.Full working rights.CULTURE.
