Our growing Brisbane Financial Services and Funds team sits within our broader Corporate & Capital Markets group led by a team of highly experienced practitioners. The team offers deep expertise across a broad range of funds management and financial services matters, including AFSL compliance, regulatory advice, licensing, product development, product disclosure requirements, design and distribution obligations, ASIC Act consumer protections (including unfair contract terms provisions), anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, privacy as well as retail banking advice across consumer credit, APRA prudential standards and codes of conduct.
Your Role You will be involved in a broad mix of financial services, funds management and retail credit matters for a blue chip client portfolio.
As part of our close-knit team, you will be working closely with experienced senior legal practitioners in the Financial Services industry, gaining valuable mentorship along the way. Our Brisbane team is highly integrated with our national financial services and funds practice and you will have the opportunity to work with partners and senior lawyers in Brisbane and across our national team.
