We work closely with other specialist teams in SLR to deliver complete, integrated solutions to our clients. Our client-focused approach brings high calibre clients with a range of exciting projects across the resources, renewables, infrastructure, agricultural, industrial and land development sectors.
  Key Responsibilities The role
SLR has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental specialist to join our Environmental Assessment & Management team based out of our brand-new Subiaco office.
 
If you are a driven individual with an environmental background, this role represents an excellent opportunity to broaden your skills in environmental impact assessment across a variety of sectors, with opportunities to work on projects across Australia. As part of the Environmental Assessment & Management team you will work with other technical specialists in SLR, play a key role in delivering projects, contribute to bids and develop client relationships.

This opportunity would suit a technical professional who is looking to accelerate their career in Environmental Management and Approvals, working alongside some of the industry's most renowned experts. There is also potential for team leadership responsibilities, if you are looking to take this step in your career.  About you
To be successful in this role you will be motivated and reliable as well as having:A Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or a related fieldA minimum 6 years' experience with demonstrated experience in environmental management and/or environmental impact assessmentWorking knowledge of Western Australian environmental legislation and relevant policies, standards and guidelinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent driving history and hold a current driver's licenseAustralian Citizenship or rights to work in Australia. Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:Preparing environmental assessment, environmental management and planning approval documentationProviding advice regarding best practice environmental impact assessmentand management principles to clients and internal SLR team membersEnsuring project schedules and financial outcomes are achieved through effective project managementDeveloping, facilitating and enhancing effective relationships with clients and internal SLR team membersWorking within and leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects across a range of sectorsDelivering clear and precise, high quality reports Benefits
