What will you do?In this position you will join our Energy and Industrial business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients. Working on major national defence projects and closely with our industrial clients, getting exposure to varied and challenging projects across the country.
We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world's economic development and, it's the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life':
Produce Concept and detailed designs in line with client requirementsUtilise your problem-solving skills to come up with innovative solutionsWork on large, multidisciplinary projects to provide fully coordinated solutionsApply the principles of Safe Design to daily tasksWork with our industrial clients across the country, with a strong focus on our South Australian based water and mining clientsReview and verify engineering design deliverables.Mentor junior engineersSupport the design across a range of LV and HV power distribution, industrial process and instrumentation.What can you bring to the team?Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future.
You will also need:
A relevant electrical engineering qualification and eligibility for Chartered status with Engineers AustraliaDetailed electrical design experience and preferably some design management experienceExperience with any of; medium/high voltage, low voltage, instrumentation, control systems or process.Knowledge of engineering design software such as ETAP, PowerCad, CDEGS etc. is preferableOur Aurecon Attributes describe the types of people we bring together for clients.
